House Bill 664

The Returning Veterans Homestead Exemption, gives veterans eligibility to receive a one-time returning veteran’s homestead exemption of $5,000. Disabled veterans are eligible to receive a homestead exemption of $2,500 for veterans who are 50-75% disabled and $5,000 for those who are 75-100% disabled. This exemption carries over to a veteran’s surviving unmarried spouse.
